Here you can find my thought on politics, religions, and all things burning. I'm a militant person, so expect to throw some flames into this furnace soon.
Dissatisfaction's Rage
Published on April 23, 2005 By mythgarr In Politics
Now that my Internet connection is up and running, I think a part of my life has returned, and some burdens have been lifted off, thus some kind of returning of familiar feelings and liberation of minds have occured.

And I can back to my old things of having headlines streamed to me by the way of RSS newsfeeds.

Oh, the feelings of reading that there have been body counts somewhere in Iraq daily. The feeling that I've lost for 2 months now...thanks to that less than dirt customer service of my ISP.

How come there are still body counts in Iraq after all that liberation made by U.S.A and the installation of a new government ?

Obviously, dissatisfaction plays a large role here.

Dissatisfaction because their liberty are taken and smothered by the boots of American rangers and the thread of their tanks ?

Dissatisfaction because they have lost the powers they have had for long ?

Dissatisfaction because they have finally learnt that the reasons to invade their lands have been proven to be a substance-empty reason ?

We, the observers, can't know exactly, but we can feel dissatisfactions are the initiatiors and drivers of their wraths.

Strange I thought it would be the other way around.
Body counts are something the US claims they never do. Like they have too much respect for human life so they wont mock it by keeping track of how many innocent civilians are killed or something. But rest assured the US does in fact keep a tally of the enemy and innocent Iraqis they kill. The US soldier is Iraq knows they have carte blanche and a blank cheque of morality behind them, so real death statistics are easier to maintain. When you don't have to hide the fact you've killed someone who was innocent or a non-combatant, you don't have to worry about keeping a record of it. Besides, a US commander/spokeman looks a lot better saying they don't do body counts than saying how many innocent Iraqis are killed on a daily basis, so it's confusing to me why the average American doesn't realize why the Commander says they don't do body counts. It's obvious why. Vietnam. They don't want to equate butchery with war like in Vietnam, so the media is strictly controlled. The hawks like to say things like "well the military had embedded reporters so that shows they have an open book war where the US public can stay fully informed. But in reality that was not the case. The restrictions and editing and the censors they had to go through made it a mockery of real journalism, a type of journalism where their eyes and ears are literally cooped up in a hotel or a compound where security is rampant. The reporters aren't in the fields with the individual American patrols. They have to trust military spokesmen for their information, or some Iraqi politicans who themselves are cut off from Iraqi society, hidden behind walls and checkpoints and armor etc... Sorry for the running of the fingers. Had lots to say.

I believe the average Iraqi knew Iraq wasn't awash in weapons of mass destruction. Correction sorry. They knew about the depleted cancer-causing uranium the US ordnance were coated in because they see the higher incidence of all sorts of cancers among the elderly and the children, who are the most succeptible unfortunately. So actually most Iraqis knew that Iraq had some sort of bad ingredient of war since the deformities stemming from the first Gulf War were rampant in their societies. As usual, the authorities are looking for the WMD and the terrorists in all the wrong places. Who has the most WMD stockpiles in the world? Which nation is the most vocal about nations not being permitted to conduct nuclear weapons programs? Which nation is currently developing what they naively (for the public's consumption) call mini-nukes. Sounds like something from a saturday morning cartoon doesn't it? Anyways gotta go and get some burgers and buns for supper. Can you guess what I'm having tonight? I'll give a clue. It has something to do with a barebecue.

The same people who were abusing and killing and shoving people off buildings at the whim of Saddam Hussein are now bombing and killing and beheading because they are angry they aren't getting paid to do it any more. 10% or so of Iraq was able to lord it over the rest, and now they are grumpy because they are at the bottom of the totem pole.

There are two types of insurgents in Iraq. Foriegners who would be killing people in some other country, and Hussein loyalists. Almost everyone else has devoted themselves to making themselves a free nation.

People like RH and mythgarr just hate America, and will twist anything they can to make us seem evil. Sad, in a way. So irritated, and yet, so inneffectual...
